For more that 25 years, the last complete Saturn V rocket has lain on its side in an open pasture near the Johnson Space Center providing a home for owls and slowly decaying.
All that looks to be changing however as a campaign is underway to restore the rocket to its former glory. It is, afterall a historic monument
